There is a deep lack of inspiration in the way we teach our children these days. Children would view education as a chore - a problem that they have to finish before they can play. This problematic viewpoint is carried through young adulthood, where some individuals simply drop out of the system with a deep distaste for education. In this episode, we talk with Cosby Hunt from Center for Inspired Teaching about working with educators and making adjustments to the education system to make it better and “inspired”.

There Is No One-Size-Fits-All In Education

Another problem that plagues the education system is its general, one-size-fits-all approach for different kinds of children. Some have strengths that are different from their peers; some have interests and other competences that are not the same as another person that’s seated next to them. It’s a problem that leads to uninspired education, and even more uninspired students. Hunt explains that to improve the system of education in the US, Inspired Teaching sits down with actual educators and asks what is their teaching philosophy, and provides them resources on how they can help improve their lessons to better engage their students and encourage their creativity.
