Across 54 of the most severely impoverished countries in Africa, less than one percent of the inter-generational population receive tertiary education. In East-Africa, socio-economic status and rural subsistence livelihoods are two of the many impediments to higher learning accession.

Davis College is a newly founded pedagogic institution offering affordable, subsidized higher education to East African men and women, built on the strong 10 year history of the Akilah Institute for women.
