They are very harsh on developing bodies and two thirds of kids treated for cancer suffer long term side effects as a result of their treatment. Childhood Cancer Research And A Helping Hand In Times Of Need
We all deserve physical and emotional support through periods of ill health. The Rally Foundation for childhood cancer is a nonprofit organization that exists to help families through their emotionally and financially bruising cancer journey. Dean explains that Rally empowers volunteers as well as researchers involved in clinical trials and very early research.
Experiencing a serious illness can be extremely isolating, which is why the Rally Foundation offers a broad range of services focused on comfort and wellbeing, such as social workers and volunteers.
To Be Able To Help, We Must Raise Awareness
As children get older, their needs, as well as the needs of their families, evolve. These needs are both psycho-social and physical. The Rally Foundation helps make conventional treatment feel much more human and bearable for family and child alike by funding more holistic care.
