Creating a Model of Cancer Care that Is Person-Centred Rather than Disease-Centred
Recurrence is one of the most overlooked issues within cancer care, and the support needed for survivors after completing their treatment is vital to attempt to reduce this. Livestrong provide resources, education and tools which help people form a healthy routine post-treatment. Stone explains how they develop exercise and nutrition programs specific to cancer survivors, to aid their bodies in returning back to strength.
