Each year, approximately 240 million people get sick from malaria, resulting in approximately 625,000 deaths. Of these, 70% deaths occur among children under the age of 5, and pregnant women are particularly vulnerable to the disease. The use of mosquito nets treated with pesticides during sleep is an effective way to prevent malaria.

Thanks to our partnership with Sports Innovation A/S, the Against Malaria Foundation has received a donation of 501 mosquito nets, which will provide protection for 902 individuals.

The nets donated are part of these 432 250 nets being distributed in Congo. On the left is shown where Congo is, and on the right were the different deliveries of nets are in Congo itself.
