Lukas Mollberg from BestBonus NZ

Today, we are talking with Lukas Mollberg – the founder of BestBonus NZ. He explores his journey in the casino industry as a gambler and a webmaster. Moreover, he shares his challenges while running an affiliate company and where he wants to be involved in the next five years.

How would you describe BestBonus to someone who does not know what you are doing?

– BestBonus is a content-focused website about online gambling generally and online casino bonuses specifically. Our business is a lead generation which means that we send new customers to our partners which in this case are casino sites in New Zealand.

How did you end up in the casino industry?

– My personal relationship with the industry started with the poker boom in early 2000. Since then I have had a connection to the industry as a gambler and webmaster.

What made you want to start BestBonus?

– In the beginning, it was all about sharing tips and tricks but evolved into a website with targeted offers to its visitors.

What personality traits in you make you a skilled founder? What have been your biggest challenges?

– I believe I have a strong competitive mind with a humble second thought. Give up is not an option as long as I see a fair challenge in what I do. I combine that with the ability to start over and make an effort to become better than my last effort.

How have you changed as a person from running BestBonus?

– The biggest epiphany is the amount of hard work most people put in their business in times when it’s fun but also in times when it could be very tough.

What are you most proud of?

– My Daughter!

Where do you want to be in 5 years?

– Businesswise I will have started a project within my second passion, sailing, and life on the sea.
