Tropicana NJ Online Casino Stops Bank Transfers
Are you a frequent player at Tropicana online casino? Learn about a recent change to their payment policy, and find out how to work that change into your online casino experience.
Tropicana NJ online casino is no longer offering online bank transfers as an option for players to deposit to their online casino account.
The change came into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday February 24, with a red alert banner and additions to the site’s Support Center page on online bank transfers relaying the news to customers.
While the Tropicana site banner mentioned that the payment method would no longer be available for deposits, the What Is An Online Bank Transfer page stated that the method had been “decommissioned as a payment option.”
We contacted customer support at Tropicana to get further details; when asked why the payment method was discontinued, support responded that “No specific reason was provided. We hopefully will replace this deposit method with different ones in the future.”
How Does This Affect Players?
Many online casino players enjoy the fast transaction speeds of online bank transfers for making deposits from their bank account to their online casino account with minimal fuss.
However, with Tropicana’s “decommissioning” of the payment method as a deposit option from their site, this may understandably leave players with questions, especially if they log in to make a deposit to their account and find that their favorite payment method is no longer available.
Luckily, Tropicana offers a variety of payment options that players can use instead to add funds to their online casino accounts.
Other Deposit Methods Available at Tropicana
In their update on the What Is An Online Bank Transfer page, Tropicana recommended Instant eCheck as an alternative payment method.
Here are details of some of the other deposit methods available at Tropicana if you find yourself wondering how you’re going to fund your next gaming session at the site:
- Instant eCheck: Also known as ACH, this deposit method allows you to add funds from your bank to your online casino account in a very similar way to an online bank transfer, making this the best alternative. You can also withdraw using this payment method.
- Visa/Mastercard: Fast, safe, and secure, these world-renowned credit and debit card brands make depositing easy. However, due to the legal issues regarding online gambling in certain parts of the U.S., you may experience delays or issues making a deposit.
- PayNearMe: If you’d prefer to use a payment method that’s not associated with banks and cards, PayNearMe allows you to make a deposit via your local 7/11 or other participating store. Simply request a PayNearMe pay slip from your Tropicana account for the amount you want to deposit, either print it or get it sent to you by text message, then take it along to your local store.
