The US is also one of the countries that consume the most fossil fuels on a yearly basis, and it also has one of the hardest to penetrate tech industries all over the world. In this episode we talked with Michelle Ferguson from Dream Corps about addressing these problems and making a change for the better in the tech & energy sector, as well as pushing for reforms in the criminal justice system.

An Organization For A Better, Cleaner, More Humane US

Deep-rooted issues such as the prison industrial complex and mandatory minimums are still being debated in the US.. Many are sentenced with punishments far harsher than their crimes.  The US also has one of the worst rates of consumption of energy sources that are harmful to the environment. On top of this, it also has many barriers for individuals looking to be part of the tech industry. Dream Corps addresses these problems by advocating for reforms of a more humane justice system, opening more opportunities within the tech sector, and fighting for more financial and social mobility. The organization has also been part of the planning and implementation of various clean-energy sources to fight the rampant use of climate-damaging energy sources.
