Child malnutrition has been cut in half worldwide since 1990, although such benchmarks must not be followed with complacency. Covid-19, conflict, and soaring magnitudes of extreme weather patterns threaten to push families over the proverbial edge and undercut valuable progress against world hunger already achieved.
Action Against Hunger is an international NGO that aims to end life-threatening hunger for good within our lifetimes. For more than 40 years, they have been on the front lines, preventing and treating hunger. In 2019 alone, they reached more than 17 million people in over 45 countries.
