Bringing Together The Community Through Art
If there is one indisputable birthplace of hip hop, it’s the Bronx - it is home to one of the best musicians in the world. The art scene is thriving and vibrant, colored by decades of artists that have lived or have come from the Bronx. With this strong identity in the arts, it would be such a waste not to cultivate it. However, some obstacles might stifle the “next great idea” or the “next great artist” - some of us are still set in our ways that there is no way to make a living with the arts. John argues that there is a career in the arts - and the youth should be motivated and given opportunities to show their true self through their art and craft.
