That's why in today's episode, we talked with Jody Blankenship, President and CEO of the Indiana Historical Society.
The Indiana History Society is a nonprofit organization and a Smithsonian affiliate. It is also a member of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience and an advocate for preserving the stories from Downtown Indianapolis to the entire state of Indiana. They have a history center, Indiana History Center, where they share exhibits in the form of three-dimensional recreations of historical photographs.
The Indiana Experience
The Indiana Historical Society offers an immersive time-travel experience through the form of innovative programs, archives, and statewide services, from award-winning exhibits. These exhibits show Indiana's past. From exhibits about National Peanut Day to Smithsonian Magazine Museum Day, there is always something new and interesting from Indiana's past to uncover.
One of their most popular exhibits is the exhibit of Eva Kor, who is now one of the most influential Holocaust educators and survivors. Their online exhibits tell a remarkable story of the history of the people living in the great state of Indiana.
