Cody says that the local and federal government is looking to control the lives of everyday Americans. In the American West, property rights are being violated on a daily bases. The perpetrators are big government agencies, liberal special interest groups, and unaccountable bureaucrats. What all of these share in common is the greed to increase their wealth and power over private citizens.
Mountain State Legal Foundation focuses on defending the constitution and the spirit of the American West. They litigate crucial cases from their headquarters in Colorado and beyond. Cody says that they represent clients who find it difficult to oppose big government. They offer their services pro bono and receive no government funding, all for the love of freedom.
