The Pet Fund is a nonprofit organization that offers financial assistance to pet owners in America. The way Pet Fund works is simple. Pet owners in need apply for funds. The organization then looks at whether or not the applicant is eligible to join their program. If the criteria are met, the Pet Fund will approve the funds.
Saving Animal Lives
The need for veterinary care funding is growing in America by the year. If a dog or cat is diagnosed with lymphoma, the owner is looking at a medical bill of around $10,000. Karen says that emergency veterinary care services are noticing a worrying trend where pet owners lack the funds to pay for treatment. The Pet Fund looks at this trend and acknowledges the rising costs of veterinary care. The costs are even bigger when taking into account emergency procedures.
That's why the Pet Fund is offering veterinary care funding to any pet owner in need. The Pet Fund works only on non-basic, non-urgent care. This includes medical needs such as cancer treatment, heart disease, chronic conditions, endocrine disease, eye disease, and more.
