Michell explains that ensuring everyone has access to screening is absolutely vital if we are to beat colorectal cancer. 45 is the magic number; by this age we should have had a conversation about cancer with our doctor - even earlier if something feels wrong. Simple preventative procedures like a colonoscopy are designed to keep us healthy, nipping anything unusual in the bud before it becomes an issue.
