The Rose is a nonprofit organization that provides breast health care. Since 1986, they've served nearly 500,000 patients. Their expert staff of board-certified radiologists, technical staff, and mammography coaches service more than 40,000 patients annually. Through their Diagnostic Imaging Centers, the Rose helps patients with insurance issues get mammogram appointments to detect breast cancer.
Providing A Valuable Service To Uninsured People
The nonprofit organization understands the difficulties and financial hardships of uninsured patients face when going through breast cancer diagnostic procedures. The heavy costs can put an uninsured family member into a lot of debt. More so, the whole family suffers as a consequence.
The Rose provides free mammograms to uninsured patients through many sponsorship programs. Their medical centers are equipped with top-of-the-line equipment and personnel to help patients with screening tests, ultrasound, and biopsy.
Their business model is primarily focused on uninsured patients, but they also offer their services to insured patients. The Rose services more than 7,000 uninsured women each year with free mammograms.
Through early intervention, women have a 98% survival chance. The Rose makes sure patients in need don't wait long and the costs don't put an uninsured family in a dire situation.
