What Is A Change Agent And How Can I Become One?
The Alliance Center celebrates change agents. These are the people who aspire to a better world and strive to implement solutions to some of our most daunting challenges. The Alliance Center works at the intersection of economic, community and environmental solutions, focusing on plans that are too big for one organization or individual to conceive alone.
Their building is home to many of the state's leading sustainability non-profits, which work across all 17 UN sustainable development goals. The Center’s different programming arms include the Living Laboratory, which is an incubator for innovation. Brenna explains that this is where people from around the world connect both virtually and in person to discuss the issues they are most passionate about.
The Regenerative Recovery Coalition is a new branch which the Center launched as an antidote to the coronavirus pandemic. It aims to engage Colorado citizens from all walks of life to help the state bounce back. Its ambitious targets relate to climate and energy, food systems, water, agriculture, democracy, politics, the economy, workforce development and transportation.
