Bet365 Casino does not have a promo code for its welcome bonus offer. If you’re a new player looking to take advantage of Bet365’s welcome bonus, you simply create an account on their website and make a deposit. They will match your first deposit 100% up to $500. You then have 60 days to fulfill your playthrough requirements before you can withdraw any earnings from this promotion.
We tested every New Jersey online casino to find which casinos offer the best promotions for new players. We measured first deposit bonuses, no deposit promos, and any other new player offering at each of the 24 legal online casinos in New Jersey.
For the purpose of ranking casinos on their welcome bonus offerings, we decided to set a standard first deposit amount of $100. This way we could more easily compare casinos that offer different promotions.
For example, some casinos offer a first deposit match bonus up to $1,000 while others — like Bet365 — only match your deposit up to $500. Setting the $100 baseline gives us a consistent variable to plug into our Actual Bonus Value formula.
In Bet365’s case, their welcome bonus package was below average compared to the other NJ online casinos. Their ABV of $44.57 tied with Hard Rock Casino for 16th place out of 24 casinos and was $8.65 below the New Jersey state average of $52.19.
Bet365’s new player bonus is still far from the worst in New Jersey. Three casinos don’t even offer a welcome bonus and the worst available bonus comes in at $16.69 from BetAmerica, now TwinSpires.
Below are three casinos that had better welcome bonus offers than Bet365 and three casinos that had worse ABVs for welcome bonus offers:
- Virgin Casino (ABV $48.65)
- Stardust (ABV $47.53)
- Hard Rock Casino (ABV $44.57)
Bet365 (ABV $44.57)
- Ocean (ABV $43.28)
- William Hill (ABV $24.33)
- PokerStars (ABV $20.86)
Bet365 NJ online casino will match your first deposit up to $500. This means they will double any first deposit between $10-$500. If you’re trying to maximize the value of your welcome bonus at Bet365, here’s what you need to do.
First, you need to deposit the maximum amount that they will match which is currently $500. After the bonus takes effect, you’ll have $1,000 in your bankroll.
Unfortunately, you need to now work through the wagering requirements which are needed before you can withdraw any earnings from the bonus. Their 20x playthrough requirement applies to the bonus amount ($500) and your first deposit ($500). This means you must wager a total of $20,000 within 60 days to hit your playthrough requirement.
To make the juice worth the squeeze, we recommend starting the process by trying to double your bankroll on European Roulette. If you bet either red or black on European Roulette, you have a 48.6% chance of taking your $500 deposit and turning it into $2,000.
Unfortunately, your roulette bet does not count towards your playthrough requirement, so you will still need to wager $20,000 before you can withdraw any of the money you just won. To satisfy the wagering requirements — we advise playing the highest-RTP game within the T&C which would be Blood Suckers at 98% RTP.
Return-to-player is an average across the life of a game, so there is variance. To avoid variance, you should play the smallest amount possible which is $0.25. This means, you will need to spin the minimum ($0.25) a total of 80,000 times within the 60 day window.
If you do this, you should expect to lose roughly $400, although you could lose more or less depending on your luck.
This means, you would take that initial $500 deposit and turn it into approximately $2,000 – $400 = $1,600.
Actual Bonus Value (ABV) is a metric we created to help compare bonuses from different casinos. This measurement uses details found in the Terms and Conditions of each casino bonus and includes the first deposit and no deposit bonuses for new players. Because Bet365 does not have a no deposit bonus, we only looked at their first deposit bonus when determining the ABV of their welcome bonus offer.
Here are the factors we included in our calculation:
- First Deposit Amount: $100 (the test baseline)
- Welcome Bonus Amount: $100
- Wagering Requirement: 20 (twenty times playthrough requirement)
- Wagering Requirement Dependency: 2 = deposit (1) + bonus (1)
- Maximum RTP Accepted: 98% or 0.98
We plugged this information into our equation as follows:
[welcome bonus amt.] x ([max RTP] ^ ([wagering requirement] x [wagering req. dependency]))
$100 x (0.98 ^ [20x2]) = $44.57
When you deposit $100 into your Bet365 online casino account, you’ll see an average return of $144.57 or $44.57 in profit from this welcome bonus. Depending on your gambling strategy and luck, you may end up earning more or less than our tested result.
Bet365 NJ Online Casino No Deposit Bonus
Bet365 Casino is 1 of 17 New Jersey online casinos without a no deposit bonus. This tied them for 6th place in our New Jersey online casino no deposit bonus test with an ABV of $0.00. This is well below the state average ABV of $4.14 and substantially worse than BetMGM which won our test with an ABV of $24.50 for their no deposit bonus.
For a complete overview of our no deposit bonus test including explanations of how we evaluated each casino, visit our NJ online casino no deposit bonus test results page. You can also visit our Actual Bonus Value page to get a thorough breakdown of this measurement and how we use it to evaluate casino bonuses in New Jersey.
We reviewed every NJ online casino’s no deposit bonus to see which casinos actually offer free play credits and how much value you could expect from their no deposit bonus.
In short, very few New Jersey online casinos offer a no deposit bonus (7) and of these no deposit bonuses, most were less than $15 in actual value.
We determined the ABV of these no deposit bonuses by looking at the terms and conditions to find the bonus specs. We then put these variables into our ABV formula to estimate the actual value returned to the player from the no deposit bonus.
Since Bet365 doesn’t have a no deposit bonus, its ABV was $0.00 along with 17 other NJ online casinos.
Across all 24 NJ online casinos, the average no deposit bonus was $4.14. If we remove all the casinos without a no deposit bonus, the average jumps to $14.21. In both scenarios, Bet365 is below average.
If a no deposit bonus is important to you, then you should consider BetMGM which offers a no deposit promo valued at $24.50.
Below are the 7 NJ online casinos with no deposit bonuses ranked according the their ABV.
- BetMGM ($24.50 ABV)
- Borgata ($19.60 ABV)
- Ocean Resort ($13.53 ABV)
- Scores Casino ($12.41 ABV)
- Harrah’s ($9.80 ABV)
- Caesars ($9.80 ABV)
- Unibet ($9.80 ABV)
Bet365 Casino NJ Online Casino Game Selection
As of our test, Bet365 has 107 games in its casino game library. This is well below the NJ state average of 550 games and the 2nd worst game selection (23rd overall) in all of New Jersey. The only casino that Bet365 beat was William Hill which only had 39 games.
For complete rankings and an outlined overview of our process for evaluating game libraries, visit our NJ online casino game selection test page.
Casino game selection is one of the major selling points for an online casino. Largest library? Biggest variety? New slots? All these features are related to game library and have a huge effect on the perceived value of a casino.
This understanding is why we decided to test every NJ online casino’s game library. For our first iteration, we focused strictly on number of games and less on other factors like exclusivity, game variance, or frequency of new releases. However, these other points will become part of this test in the future.
With regard to size of game library, the New Jersey average was 550 games. This is a little misleading because there was actually the biggest variance between 1st and 24th in these test than any other casino test we conducted. First place was BetMGM with 1,121 total games and last place was William Hill with 39. This is a difference of 1,082 games.
Unfortunately, Bet365 was closer to last than they were first. They finished our test in 23rd place with only 107 total games. This is 443 games less than the state average and over 1,000 fewer than BetMGM.
Below are three casinos that finished directly above Bet365 casino and the only one casino that finished behind it.
20. PokerStars (190 games)
21. Tropicana (177 games)
22. Virgin (176 games)
23. Bet365 (107 games)
24. William Hill (39 games)
Bet365 Casino NJ Online Casino Email Support Test
Bet365 NJ online casino finished in 2nd place in our email support test with a 100% response rate and 2.1-hour average response time. This was hands-down one of the best, most reliable casinos we tested for email support.
You can review our testing process along with screenshots of our outreach to all 24 casinos by visiting our NJ online casino email support test page.
Our online casino email support test was meant to see how fast and reliable each casino was at providing customers with support via email. We sent the same 10 questions to every casino at various days and times of the day for a week straight. We collected data around when we sent the email, when/if we received a response, and how they answered.
What we discovered was that very few casinos valued email support highly. In fact, only 6 out of the 23 casinos (PokerStars didn’t have an email support) responded to 100% of our emails.
Thankfully, Bet365 was one of the casinos that did respond to every email, and they did so quickly — at least quick compared to other NJ online casinos. Bet365’s 100% response rate was 31% faster than the state average and their 2.1 hour response time was more than 15 hours faster than the average online casino email support team in New Jersey. This was good enough to earn them a 5-star rating in email support in our review.
Below shows all 6 of the casinos to respond to 100% of emails in our test in order of their ranking.
- Virgin
- Bet365
- Tropicana
- SugarHouse
- Caesars
- Parx
In addition to email, you can reach out to their support team via phone at 1 (888) 823-8365. They also have a support page with FAQs for the more common questions.
Bet365 NJ Online Casino Website Speed
Bet365 New Jersey online casino finished in 2nd place with an average time of 0.74 seconds in our page load speed test. This was 1.14 seconds faster than the New Jersey average load time of 1.88 seconds.
For a detailed overview of our testing process along with screenshots, visit our New Jersey online casino page load speed test page.
We tested every NJ online casino for 7 consecutive days to collect a large enough sample size to measure the average load time at each casino. This test focused on 4 specific page types at every casino.
- Slots Page: Usually one of the largest pages from a data-perspective.
- Promotions Page: One of the more visited pages at a casino.
- Responsible Gaming Page: An area of a casino that offers player safety support.
- Support Page: The part of a casino where players can contact the casino for help.
To conduct our test, we used Pingdom which is the leading page speed software online. We ran tests every 30 seconds at each casino and collected over 300 samples from every casino. After completing our test, we analyzed the data and ranked every online casino in New Jersey by their average page load speed.
Bet365 performed extremely well and finished with an 0.74-second average page speed. This was 254% faster than the NJ state average and one of only five casinos to finish with an average time under 1 second.
Below shows the rankings of the top 5 casinos by page load speed.
- Scores Casino (0.59 seconds)
- Bet365 Casino (0.74 seconds)
- Virgin Casino (0.86 seconds)
- Unibet Casino (0.92 seconds)
- Pala Casino (0.95 seconds)
Page load speed is a subtle, but important factor in your gaming experience while playing at an online casino. Not only can it directly affect your playing by slowing down your gameplay, but it can be a red flag that indicates more serious issues with the technical makeup of an online casino. This could be concerning not just for your enjoyment, but for the safety and security of your identity and money.
Fortunately, Bet365 has one of the best and fastest experiences of all NJ online casinos. If you decide to gamble at Bet365’s online casino in New Jersey, you shouldn’t notice any lagging, and you should have a relatively seamless experience on their platform.
