Our Actual Bonus Value (ABV) looks at the important metrics within a bonus’s terms and conditions which might dictate its literal value. For example, a $1,000 match bonus is not a free $1,000 — it’s baked into some required betting thresholds like a 20x playthrough or 14-day expiry window. That 20x playthrough makes you bet that free $1,000 20 times over or $20,000 in total wagers before you satisfy the casino’s requirements.

In other words, the casino bonus is rarely what you think it is. This principle is important because it reveals the need for a metric like our ABV.

Our email support test for New Jersey online casinos aimed to find the most reliable casinos in the state at email support. We had originally wanted to measure not just responsiveness but actual helpfulness. Unfortunately, our test revealed how little emphasis casinos place on email support.

A page load speed of 3.00 seconds is better than the average website on the internet, but it’s no where near the fastest online casino in New Jersey. While an average time of 3.00 seconds is not concerning from a technical perspective, it is bad when you’re comparing it to other casinos which are able to deliver speeds under a second.
